Karl is a fun loving father of 3 married to Kristen , he is an addrenaline seeker whos favorite hobbies are CrossFit – Powder Skiing & Snow Boarding - Sky Skiing. Karl is CrossFit level 1 & olympic certified . He is certified in CPR & first aid . Karl was an avid Globo junkie for about seventeen years he was a skeptic about the CrossFit method (very hard sale) Then his beautiful wife brought him to the level 1 cert where he was gently introduced to this girl named FRAN! He received such an a@#!! kicking that he was hooked. Never to look back thanks for the enlightenment Virginia Beach.
Kristen Parkkonen - Co-owner of CrossFit Greer
Kristen is a very vibrant outgoing women who has been a fitness trainer for the last 13yrs. She is the loving mother of 3 children married to Karl (lucky girl). Kristen recently gave up all of her positions at other gyms (13 years at the YMCA and too many others to list) to pursue her ultimate goal owning and running her own box. She will push you to your absolute limits she is an incredible motivator! CrossFit is where it’s at Baby! CrossFit is by far the best program out there, no other program can compare.

Regan Green “That Guy”

Regan is easy going and had always been athletic; enjoying golf,
baseball, gymnastics and karate. When Regan first walked into
CrossFit Greer, he thought…”These people are crazy!!”. Finally
after getting enough courage to try it in November 2009, it became
evident that this was his new passion. Through the CrossFit program,
including nutrition, Regan has lost 27lbs and is on his way to
becoming a Ninja! He has an uncanny eye for detail and form. He
loves seeing people who have never pushed themselves physically or
mentally push themselves to new levels and achieve record
feats….That’s why he loves CrossFit.

Jenn Green
Before CrossFit, Jenn just ran for exercise…Not very fast or far and then she was introduced to CrossFit. Jenn remembers her first WOD – 4 Rounds 800m Run, burpees & box jumps. She couldn’t even finish the WOD, but came back for more and has been crossfitting for almost 3 years now. CrossFit absolutely required of Jenn a total mental change that allowed for her to move not just outside of her comfort zone but WAY outside of it. CrossFit continues to push her to extremes that she never thought she’d be capable of.
She loves breaking through the mental barriers with the support of an incredible community of people, all aiming for the same goals. Even more than this, Jenn loves watching as others break through their own mental barriers and achieve something that they never thought possible. “Having the opportunity to train and help others to feel just as much a part of our community is priceless to me” she says…. “Life is pushing on me and I am going to push back, HARD!”
